1. Planning & Design
Every great home starts with a great conversation. We begin by learning about your goals, lifestyle, and vision — whether you’re planning a family home or a lakeside cabin. Together, we’ll discuss your ideas, layout preferences, and location details to ensure the design perfectly fits your needs.
You can choose from one of our proven RTM plans, modify an existing layout, or work with our trusted designer and draftsperson, who has partnered with us for over 15 years, to create something entirely custom. This stage is all about aligning your ideas with practical design and long-term comfort.
2. Budget & Financing
Once we’ve defined your plan, we’ll discuss your budget and project goals to ensure everything aligns with your vision. We’ll provide a detailed quote that reflects the full cost of your RTM home — from the structure itself to the post-delivery connections.
Our team works closely with lenders who understand the unique nature of RTM home construction, making it simple to secure financing that covers your build from planning to completion. We’re transparent about costs at every step so you can move forward with confidence.
3. Construction Phase
After the design and budget are finalized, construction begins in our secure outdoor building compound near Saskatoon. Every home is built under our direct supervision using quality materials, skilled trades, and proven techniques.
Each phase of construction is carefully managed — from framing to finishing — ensuring your home meets the National Building Code of Canada and our own high internal standards. Licensed professionals complete all electrical and plumbing work, and every detail is inspected before delivery.
Most homes are completed within four to six months, depending on complexity and the season. Choosing a standard plan can speed up the process, while custom designs allow for more personalization and detail.
To stay on schedule, we recommend planning 12–14 months ahead from when you want your home delivered. Timelines can vary, and there is typically a minimum one-month planning period before your project is ready to be finalized and scheduled into our build queue.
4. Delivery & On-Site Completion
Once your home is ready, we coordinate the delivery and setup process with experienced professional movers who specialize in RTM homes. We handle the route planning and logistics to ensure your home arrives safely at your property.
On-site, the home is positioned and secured on your foundation, then connected to utilities by local trades. Our team remains available to guide you through final steps such as hookups, inspections, and finishing touches — ensuring everything transitions smoothly from our yard to your lot.
